Would a Smaller Phone Plan Fit Your Real Data Use?

Your phone plan may offer far more data than you use, or it may be too restrictive on the days you need it most. The starting point is your actual mobile data use over several billing cycles. An unlimited plan name does not tell you how many gigabytes you personally consume.

Before switching, compare coverage where you spend time, the complete bill, and any remaining device payments or promotional conditions. If you want to keep your number, coordinate the transfer with the new carrier and keep the old service active until it is complete. A cheaper advertised plan is only useful if it fits those needs.

How much mobile data do you typically use per month?

Use your actual cellular usage, even if your plan is called unlimited. These non-overlapping ranges help you compare relevant plan features.
