An Older Car Does Not Automatically Mean You Need Less Insurance

The phrase full coverage can make a car policy sound finished. It is still worth asking which losses are covered, which limits apply, and what you would pay yourself. A newer car, an older paid-off car, and a financed car can create different questions even when the same phrase appears in the quote.

Your car's age is a starting point for this review, not a rule for dropping insurance. State requirements and any loan or lease obligations still apply. Liability protects against certain harm you cause to others; it does not become less important simply because your own vehicle is worth less.

How old is your car?

Choose your car's age to review the value, financing, and deductible questions to check. Age alone does not determine the coverage you need.
